**Job Title**: Household Manager and Personal Assistant

**Job Summary**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Clean the home and maintain its overall organization and appearance.
- Manage household tasks, including organizing schedules and running errands.
- Drive the employer and family members as needed, including to appointments, activities, and events.
- Shop for groceries, household supplies, and other necessary items.
- Do laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away clothing and linens.
- Prepare light meals and snacks as needed.
- Step in to provide childcare for one 15-month-old, including feeding, diapering, and engaging in age-appropriate activities. We have a full time nanny, but would need assistance on her time off.
- Provide pet care for a dog and cat, including feeding, walking and cleaning.
- Maintain the garden, mainly consisting of mowing and water the lawn.
- Organize the home, including managing household files, paperwork, and bills.
- Coordinate activities and appointments for the employer and family members, including scheduling and reminders.
- Book and organize trips, including flights, hotels, and rental cars.
- Plan events, including parties and gatherings, and manage all related tasks.
- Hire and manage contractors for home repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain all household inventory: keeping house stocked with food and necessary items.
- Perform other related duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods.
- Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend and being able to lift up to 35lb.
- Good communication skills including the ability to listen carefully and ask the right questions to gain clarification.
- Integrity including honesty and high ethical standards.
- Reliability including good time-keeping.
- High work standards including the ability to meet performance standards without supervision.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and strong attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle. You will be compensated for travel expenses.
- Experience in childcare and pet care.
- Flexible schedule, willing to work weekend or evenings occasionally.
- Legally able to work in Canada and have a valid Social Insurance Number.

**Salary**: $26.00-$42.00 per hour
