Ranch Hand

We’re a small regenerative ranch in Powell River BC focused on restoring land health, raising pastured livestock, and growing nutrient-dense food. We are looking for a hands-on and hardworking team member to help with daily tasks and land projects. This position is for an individual who is passionate about sustainable farming and agriculture.

**Daily Responsibilities**:

- Rotate hens, cattle, and broilers through pastures.
- Maintain brooders (clean water, feed, bedding) and collect/pack eggs.
- Assist with seasonal garden beds, nursery upkeep, and tree planting.

**Projects**:

- Build/repair fencing, chicken tractors, and livestock shelters.
- Operate tractors, chainsaws, or excavators for land clearing/restoration.
- Propagate plants and support agroforestry/silvopasture work.

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Experience with livestock, fencing, or carpentry (some skills preferred, not all required).
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all conditions.
- Basic mechanical skills (small engines, equipment).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Interest in regenerative agriculture, soil health, and land stewardship.
