We are looking for a strong people person and executor to join our Freshii’s team as our People Culture Manager
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and passionate individual to join the Freshii People Team to act as a specialist focused on managing end to end employee lifecycles, engagement, company-wide processes, socials and fostering a killer company culture. In this role, you’ll be supporting our People and Leadership Team’s in payroll, benefits, equity, recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, talent management, social events, office maintenance and so much more. **What this role entails**:
- Lead all people related processes and manage all human resource platforms, including Blue Cross Benefits, BambooHR, ADP Payroll, Solium Equity, Egencia Travel and Concur Expense Reporting.
- Manage recruitment process end to end for any new roles including creation of job descriptions, posting online, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, scheduling additional interviews with management, completing reference checks, drafting and presenting offers.
- Onboard new hires with company policies, processes, forms, training sessions, team introductions, manager coaching, technology/systems set-up, engagement surveys and 90-day check-ins.
- Manage all employee related changes/updates from an administration and communication perspective, including role changes, salary increases, year end merit increases, promotions, performance improvement plans, career development discussions, organization restructures, employee offboarding and/or manager changes.
- Lead all logistics, planning and preparation required for Freshii’s head-office, companywide in-person meetings, social engagements, guest speakers and weekly huddles.
- Execute, administer and train employees on full talent management process, including 360 feedback, talent reviews, talent calibration, department people planning and annual people check-ins.
- Being first point of contact to solve any people related problems or questions including processes, performance, operating principles people values, company culture, and systems administration.
- Execute and take full accountability for running bi-weekly payroll on ADP Payroll system for head-office and corporate store employees, including new hire data entries, tax adjustment, equity remittances, LTD deduction entries, issuing ROEs, stat holiday pay, producing annual tax forms and administering year-end payroll reconciliations.
- Administer any new policy changes or roll-outs system-wide ensuring proper documentation is stored for audit purposes, policies adhere to ESA regulations and employees are adequately trained.
**Qualifications**:
- Post-Secondary degree in Business or Human Resources is preferred.
- 2-3 years People Culture/Human Resources work related experience.
- 1-2 years of experience managing people platforms including benefits, HR, equity and payroll is considered an asset.
- Past experience recruiting and talent management is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of people related processes and ESA regulations for recruitment, onboarding, offboarding and company policies.
