POSITION: SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - Paediatrics, SmallTALK

Full-Time

: A speech-language pathologist is responsible for the assessment, treatment, education and management of referred patients. Caseload will be exclusively paediatric outpatients.

REPORTS TO: Manager, Preschool Speech and Language

DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible

SALARY: $44.67 to $57.90 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Masters degree or equivalent in Speech Language Pathology
- A member in good standing of the College of Audiologists and Speech and Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASPLO)

EXPERIENCE:

- Preference is given to individuals possessing a minimum of 1 year clinical experience in the identification and treatment of speech and language delays and disorders
- Experience in provision of Early Language Parent Training (e.g. Hanen Programs) and family education regarding management of/family interaction with children with communication disorders
- Experience with providing assessment and treatment through virtual platforms

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, time management, problem-solving and innovation skills.
- Proven flexibility and a high level of initiative.
- Evidence of continued professional growth and/or professional development
- Appreciation of resource utilization.
- Computer skills, particularly Meditech, MS Office, and/or other software
- A valid Ontario driver’s license and access to vehicle for travel throughout the region.
