Join our team in the water industry ControlChem is looking for a positive and energetic person to work with us in our Burlington facility (note this position is an in-person position).

**Overall Responsibilities**: After training, the Batch Maker/General Labourer is responsible for duties as follows:

- **Processing water treatment chemical and equipment orders**:

- **Blending and packaging water treatment chemicals**:

- **Shipping and receiving**:

- **Inventory labelling, organization and counts**:

- **General plant cleaning and housekeeping**:

- **Contribute to Team Success**:

- Work and perform in accordance with the following Corporate Statements of ControlChem (Vision, Mission, Goals and Values).
- **Conform & Support All ControlChem Policies & Procedures** - ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Human Resources, Company Policy, Marketing and Health & Safety.
- **All law is to be followed at all times; without exception. **i.e. Labor law, Highway traffic act, Criminal law, Environmental law etc.

**Training for this position includes**:

- Safe Forklift operation
- WHMIS & TDG
- First Aid
- Fall Protection
- Batch process operations, ISO procedures
- Shipping and receiving, with tankers and transports

**Work-Related Tools**:

- **Forklift**

**Education, Skills/Experience needed**:

- High School diploma

**Working Conditions**: As the Batch Maker and General Labourer for ControlChem, a typical work day will be from 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday (some longer hours may be required if workload insists). You will be eligible to take two 10 minute breaks, spread out in the morning and afternoon. You will be given a 30-minute unpaid lunch as well.

**Wages**$25.00 per hour, depending on previous industrial experience.

Full Time, days, overtime as directed. Occasional nights maybe be required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
