**Job Summary**:
The Machine Operator is a key player in the precision manufacturing of machined parts. Reporting directly to the Machine Shop Supervisor, they are responsible for setting up and operating machinery, conducting quality control checks, and performing routine maintenance on machinery. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

**Primary Roles & Responsibilities**:
Operating the Hydraulic Press machine by:

- Referencing work orders to understand the scope of the work.
- Setting up and operating machine tools.
- Loading plastic sheets into the machine clamp frame.
- Unloading formed parts from the machine and trimming excess material.

Maintaining a safe and organized work environment by:

- Maintaining a clean and organized working environment.
- Completing timesheets and reports to track units produced.
- Performing quality control checks on machined products throughout the process.
- Strictly adhering to and enforcing all established safe work procedures and health and safety regulations and ensuring safe use of all machinery.
- Completing routine maintenance of machinery and troubleshooting problems that arise.
- Participating in daily departmental meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.

**What We're Looking For**:

- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience operating plastic fabricating machinery or hydraulic presses is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Capable of physically lifting parts up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to remain standing for prolonged periods of time.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
