**Responsibilities**

Duties include but not limited to

  • Identify, create and manage delivering programs that support newcomer groups,
  • Develop programming geared to newcomer adults and youth,
  • Recruit, supervise, actively mentor and train staff and volunteers,
  • Encourage and promote lifelong learning and healthy lifestyles,
  • Actively recruit and engage newcomer populations,
  • Support program delivery when needed,
  • Develop relationships with community partners,
  • Manage program budgets,
  • Maintain professional relationships with peers, members, volunteers.
  • A commitment to the Club’s mission, vision and values,
  • A university or college degree in recreation, social services or a related field,
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in program implementation and supervision,
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role,
  • Experience working with newcomer and equity deserving populations,
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to contribute to the creation of

positive team and workplace dynamic,

  • Demonstrated empathy, approachability and an understanding of others,
  • Successful experience working with a diverse population,
  • Well organized and able to streamline, prioritize and manage multiple tasks

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $44,462.00 per year
