**Community Service Provider (CSP) - Companion Care**
**Red Deer, AB** | **Part-Time / Casual** | **$17.00 - $18.00 per hour**

Helping Hands is seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Service Provider to provide companion care services to seniors in **Edmonton and Red Deer**. This flexible role is ideal for an experienced caregiver looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide companion care to seniors, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment.
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and daily living tasks as needed.
- Support mobility and personal care based on client needs.
- Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, and community activities.
- Monitor and report changes in client well-being to appropriate personnel.
- Communicate effectively with care teams, nursing staff, and the Helping Hands team.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Health Care Aide (HCA) Certification (preferred but not required).
- First Aid & CPR Certification (current and valid).
- Intervention Record Check (IRC) & Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening).
- Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation (preferred).
- Previous experience in senior care, home care, or community support is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to client needs.

**What We Offer**:

- $17.00 per hour starting rate ($17.50 - $18.00 per hour with HCA Certification or relevant degree).
