Underground Capital Coordinator

**Responsibilities**:
The Underground Capital Coordinator will be accountable for safe and efficient coordination of activities to support the execution of the Capital program and contractor supervision on underground projects. The coordinator must be able to work in an underground mining environment and will be required to spend at least 50% of their time in the field.

Facilitate Capital deliverables, including QA/QC inspections, with the project team, contractors, and warehouse staff to ensure no shipping damages.

Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project management for efficient project execution and safety compliance.

Arrange and manage logistics for Capital material and equipment, ensuring alignment with project plans.

Oversee daily project activities, including quality control, safety performance, and adherence to schedules and budgets.

Handle permits, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and conduct regulatory compliance and safety culture activities.

Review daily labor, equipment, and material reports (LEMS), validate contractor payments, and ensure completion of punch-list actions.

Facilitate communication between project staff and the Owner, reporting progress and addressing potential issues promptly.

Enforce company and regulatory safety and health standards, ensuring safe work practices and maintaining project documentation for compliance and closeout.

**Education and Experience**:
Bachelor’s degree or Trade Certification in a relevant field

Underground Supervisor ticket would be considered an asset.

Must be able to work in an underground mine environment.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop positive working relationships.
