**_Lift operators - Heights Ski Club _**

**_Duties & Responsibilities_**
- _Load and unload guests safely on and off lifts_
- _Ensure all safety precautions are followed and inform Supervisor of any conditions that may affect the safety of our guests or fellow employees_
- _Check lift tickets and passes for validations and proper location_
- _Maintain accurate Lift Log and Stop Log_
- _Maintain an orderly and fair flow through corral and maze system_
- _Maximize uphill capacity_
- _Ensure all opening and closing procedures are followed_
- _Responsible for snow maintenance_
- _Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area_
- _Work as a team, job share_
- _Be friendly, courteous, and informative to all guests (front line employee)_
- _Be present, in uniform and punctual on scheduled days with a packed lunch_
- _Deal with complaints in a pleasant manner and know when to call upon lift supervisor for assistance_
- _Recognize incidents that require documentation - fill out appropriate paperwork correctly_
- _Read and understand company policies and procedures_
- _Other duties assigned_

**_Physical & Time Requirements_**
- _Day Shift Hours 8:00 am - 4:30 pm - 4:45 pm depending on snow maintenance_
- _Follow lunch, washroom and break procedures as directed_
- _Work outdoors, sometimes in extreme weather conditions_
- _Ability to push/pull_
- _Physically fit to shovel snow_
- _Lift up to 40 lbs, assisted lifts with anything over 40 lbs_
- _Ability to stand for long periods of time outside while working loading area_
- _Stability to walk on uneven surfaces and icy conditions_
- _Ability to ascend/descend a ladder and comfortable working from heights_
- _Peripheral vision_
- _Communicate, converse with and exchange accurate information with guests and fellow employees in a polite and professional manner_

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 3-4 months

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.50 per hour
