Msp Field Network Systems Administrator

**Responsibilities**:
- Install and maintain computers and server hardware and software, including Microsoft Windows Servers 2016 to 2022, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, workstations, and networking devices.
- Provide remote and onsite support to client environments.
- Implement and manage enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions, including advanced threat protection, Managed detection and response (MDR) and endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems.
- Participate in planning, coordinating, and implementing project requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation and information, such as network diagrams, topologies, and contact information.
- Troubleshoot issues in both onsite and remote environments.
- Evaluate, audit, and implement new infrastructures.
- Resolve problems of all difficulty levels.
- Manage various cloud platforms, including Azure and private cloud.
Required skills:
- Strong systems administration skills with Microsoft Windows Servers and workstations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policies.
- Experience supporting remote control solutions (e.g., Remote Desktop Services, VPN).
- Experience supporting and implementing virtualization technologies, preferably VMware and Hyper-V.
- Experience supporting and implementing backup systems, preferably Veeam and Datto.
- Experience supporting and implementing Microsoft 365.
- Experience supporting and implementing firewalls, preferably Fortinet and network switching.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to learn and implement new technologies.
- Self-motivated technician with a passion for IT.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Other:
- Bilingualism (fluent in both French and English) is a strong asset.
- Mandatory driver's license with access to own vehicle.
- Minimum of a college diploma
- No minimum work experience as a network administrator but multiple years of experience will be considered an asset.
- Must be living in the Ottawa/Gatineau area and ready to start quickly.
- Professional IT certifications are not mandatory but will be considered an asset.

- Salary will be based on experience and knowledge.
Pay: $45,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
