**About BECC Modular**

BECC Modular is a rapidly growing volumetric modular design build company, focused on building various modular buildings, from small scale shelters and institutional buildings to large scale affordable multi-residential housing projects across Ontario. With numerous projects won and more on the way, we are building our Construction & Management Team to be the first in hand to see our buildings come to life.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review and understand bid documents. Understand the scope and vision of projects
- Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites
- Plan, schedule, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
- Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates.
- Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes
- Negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Define and implement project plans in accordance with the contract terms, client’s needs and schedule through project planning, execution, and close outs.
- Provide hands-on project management and actively supervise the project, deliverables, dependencies and outcome of assigned projects to ensure projects are on schedule and on budget.
- Negotiate contracts and collaborate with sub-trades, vendors, architects as required.
- Conduct regular Project Status Meetings with clients, attend & chair weekly job meetings.
- Prepares and/or verifies progress payments to clients, subcontractors and monitor progress. Submit project estimates to clients and submit change orders.
- Ensure that daily tasks are done in accordance with the BECC’s Standard Operating procedures.
- Perform other related duties as required.

**Qualifications/Experience requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Building construction, construction management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture (Asset)
- 5-7 years in Project Management
- Proven work experience as a Construction Project Manager.
- Working knowledge of construction equipment, drawings, specifications, building material and required standards.
- Ability to understand and interpret drawings, specification, technical and commercial documents.
- Well organized, flexible, detail oriented and be able to multi-task.
- Prioritize workload.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with customer, sub-trades and employees.
- Effectiveness in the areas of construction safety and productivity.
- Construction and Building code knowledge (OBC)
- Able to perform quantity take-offs and issue for pricing
- Ability to travel to various construction sites and meetings.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ground up experience is a must
- Civil experience an asset
- Experience with on-site craning an asset
- You have good understanding and experience working with Civil scope including concrete and steel material
- Ability to work flexible hours as the project schedule demands.
- Solid computer skills
- Design building construction experience
- Has experience of Multi residential building projects
- Engineering background
- Has experience of working with the municipalities on building code and other requirements

Competitive Salary (90-110 K)

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
