Commercial Insurance Advisor

Location: Hybrid or in-office

Are you passionate about building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional insurance solutions? ONE Insurance is seeking a Commercial Insurance Advisor to drive annual commercial growth by attracting new clients and managing an existing book of business. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Achieve individual growth and sales targets as set by the Director of Commercial Insurance.
- Retain and grow a portfolio of Commercial clients.
- Provide professional, courteous, and efficient service to new and existing clients.
- Market and place coverage with insurance providers, conduct annual coverage reviews, and assist with claims.
- Prospect and present proposals to new clients.
- Submit new business to insurance markets and respond to underwriter inquiries.
- Maintain strong client relationships through in-person visits and ongoing communication.
- Support team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
- Participate in community and industry events to enhance visibility and engagement.

Ideal Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum 2+ years of insurance industry experience, preferably in Commercial Insurance.
- Strong knowledge of various risk classes and ability to manage both large and small accounts.
- In-depth understanding of insurance markets, policy wordings, and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills.
- Valid Manitoba Driver’s License and willingness to travel.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Level 2 Insurance License is required.
