**Freelance Tour Guide - Montreal**

**About the Role**
Guydeez is looking for enthusiastic locals in Montreal to join as freelance tour guides. You will lead private walking tours for small groups, sharing the city’s history, culture, and neighborhoods in an engaging way.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct walking tours (3-8 hours) tailored to guest interests.
- Share local stories, culture, and historical insights.
- Ensure tours are well-organized and run smoothly.
- Provide excellent customer service and a welcoming experience.
- Optionally lead food or culinary-focused tours.

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of Montreal’s neighborhoods, history, and culture.
- Fluency in at least one of the following: French, English, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, or Chinese.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable leading tours lasting several hours.
- Previous guiding, hospitality, or hosting experience is a plus, but not required.

**What We Offer**
- Freelance/independent contractor role.
- Flexible schedule — choose your own working days and hours.
- Compensation: approx. CAD $25/hour (equivalent to $200/day depending on tours).
- Performance-based bonuses.
- One-day onboarding and introduction.
