**Job Summary**:
The Analytical Chemistry Lab Technician will work with the team to analyze water samples and products for Hydro International.

**Analytical Chemistry Lab**:
Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses using various analytical instruments and techniques, including but not limited to spectrophotometry, colorimetry, and titration.
Prepare and standardize chemical solutions, reagents, and samples according to established protocols.
Maintain accurate records of experimental data, observations, and results.
Assist in the calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Post-secondary laboratory science Chemical technologist diploma, or equivalent.
Previous laboratory experience or coursework in analytical chemistry and/or hydraulics laboratory. Experience with inductively coupled plasma (ICP) analysis is an asset.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instrumentation, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
