**Overview**

**Duties**
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables
- Manage reservations and waitlists effectively to optimize seating arrangements
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions
- Ensure that the dining area is clean, organized, and inviting at all times
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering questions about the menu or restaurant policies
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods

**Skills**
- Previous Host/Host experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Effective communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in food service or restaurant operations is advantageous
- Knowledge of guest relations and hotel experience can enhance the overall guest experience
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent phone etiquette to manage reservations and inquiries professionally
