We currently have an exciting opportunity for a
**Part Time**
**ECG Technician** to join our
**Cardiology Team**.

**RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to)**:

- Providing optimum quality non-invasive diagnostic cardiac testing that will include Cardiac Stress Testing, ECG, Holter Set up and Scanning, Ambulatory Blood Pressure set up and reporting and Simple Spirometry
- Related paper work and other duties as assigned

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Certification/registration with the Ontario Society of Cardiology Technologists/Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists required.
- High school graduation or equivalent required
- Ability to operate/maintain equipment used for cardiac diagnostic testing
- BCLS provider certification required.
- Practical experience with 12 lead electrocardiography
- Certified to perform exercise stress testing, holter monitoring, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, and cardiac device interrogation and programming asset.
- Must have demonstrated superior customer service and teamwork skills.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to listen and take direction effectively.
- Must be able to prioritize a busy daily workload.
- Must be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
- Effective computer, MUSE and Meditech knowledge is preferred.
- The ability to perform basic troubleshooting skills and preventative maintenance
- Ensure infection control procedures are adhered to and revised/reviewed annually
- Must be able to maintain the patient record including filing and retrieval.
- Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
