Thanks to the growth of the company, Experlogix is looking for a Product Owner for its document automation brand Xpertdoc. This new position acts as the link between Product Management and the Development team. As a Product Owner you maintain the product backlog and document requirements in user stories with acceptance criteria. You will work within a Scaled Agile Framework environment (SAFe) and attend grooming, planning, retrospective, and demo sessions. You work with a Development team partially located in Belgium and Canada.

**Responsibilities**
- Refine the project backlog.
- Plan PIs (Project Increments/Sprints) and prioritize and prepare work items with clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Follow up on progress and changes in the PI planning.
- Safeguard the quality of development work by validating that the executed stories meet acceptance criteria, are persistently testable, meet the definition of done and have passed QA.
- Work with System and Solution Architects to help prioritize enablers (tech stories).
- Collaborate with other POs and coordinate dependencies.
- Manage documentation in collaboration with the Technical Writer.
- Work with Training department to build training materials for new features.
- Participate in retrospective meeting.
- Prepare and present PI demos to all stakeholders.
- Optimize the relationship with your dev squad’s development manager and technical lead to ensure an optimal cooperation.
- Cooperate with the Product Manager to contribute to the strategic themes / product vision, product strategy, value streams and roadmap.

**Required skills**
- Over 2 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in a similar role, preferably working for a business software vendor.
- Comfortable learning new software, willing to become a product expert.
- Objective and evidence based.
- Self-motivated, quick learner and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French
- Flexible workhours when required (part of the dev squad is located in Canada) and willingness to travel occasionally.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

**Location**

You will work remotely and in our Canada office in Terrebonne in a hybrid setup. You report to the Xpertdoc Product Manager, who is based in Belgium.
