Residential Rental Property Manager

All our properties are professionally maintained, managed and are operated according to the highest standards of excellence.
We are seeking a **Property Manager** who is reliable, detail-oriented, and hard-working. You will be tasked with ensuring quality service throughout our rental portfolio while managing day-to-day operations, maintenance, and administrative duties.
**Responsibilities Include**:
**Customer Service/Tenant Relations**
- Manage a portfolio of residential (high and low rise) and commercial properties
- Maintain property rentals by filling vacancies, preparing, and enforcing leases for prospective tenants
- Prepare and facilitate contracts with tenants and collect security deposits
- Collect and record incoming rents, deal with late payments, prepare all necessary reports, and summarize data as necessary
- Ensure all vacant suites become ready to rent as soon as possible
- Respectively address all tenant questions and concerns in a timely manner
- Ability to build strong tenant relationships
- Keep detailed records of tenant communications and all proposed solutions
- Supervise building repairs and maintenance work to ensure quality control and work is completed as contracted
- Terminate leases, initiate eviction proceedings, and serve legal documents as directed by Executive Team
- On-call support for after-hour emergencies
- Promptly respond in a professional manner to all emergencies and document accurately
- Analyze rental market on a periodic basis and stay on top of trends in the region’s rental market
- Additional duties as assigned by Executive Team
**Qualifications**
- Knowledge and experience with the Residential Tenancy Act
- Experience with Yardi property management systems considered an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
