Tidewater has an immediate opening for an **Asset Integrity Inspector **reporting to the Chief Inspector. This is a full-time position based in our Prince George Refinery. This position provides integrity support and leadership to the Prince George Refinery through the development of effective/economic equipment inspections strategies and integrity assessments. This role is a part of a multi-disciplinary team environment with operations, safety, engineering, and maintenance staff. The key focus of this role is to ensure equipment meets integrity and reliability targets, regulatory compliance while minimizing risk, operating costs and extending the life of Tidewater's assets.

**Position Responsibilities**
- Develops, performs, and/or manages the inspection execution of each years asset scope. This includes inspection plan creation, visual inspection execution and/or management, CML selection, NDE selection and execution management. Data review, evaluation, acceptance, IDR/NCR generation/resolution, and the determination of follow-up scope based on discovered integrity issues.
- Complete risk-based inspection tasks on equipment as per the associated equipment strategy
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Projects, and Operations the required inspection and integrity program work required throughout scope executions.
- Develop, maintain and/or control inspection records, integrity assessments, nonconformance reports and other necessary documentation for pressure equipment, tanks, and piping.
- Complete or participate in 3rd Party Vendors, PEIM program and facility audits and assessments to verify regulatory, design engineering and code compliance.
- Support regulatory audits related to Tidewaters equivalent standards approach and liaises with the regulatory authority on jobs outside of our Owner User scope
- Works with the Chief Inspector to review, audit and update the PEIM Manual as required
- Other work as assigned by the Chief Inspector

**Position Qualifications**:

- API 510 certification is required, API 570, 653 is preferred and NBIC PEI, API 571,580 are considered to be an asset.
- A technologist diploma in either Welding Engineering Technology, Materials Engineering Technology, or Mechanical Engineering Technology is considered an asset
- Minimum 3 years experience in the inspection of in-service pressure equipment - pressure vessels, heat exchangers, heaters, boilers, piping, etc
- Previous experience in Risk Based Inspection (RBI) programs and methodology considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of pressure equipment codes and regulations in British Columbia
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
