Paint Booth Operator

Longboard Architectural Products is currently looking for a Paint Booth Operator to join our Paint-line team at our manufacturing facility in the Gloucester Estate, Aldergrove. You will work with an automated powder coating paint line and manually powder coat in the paint booth.

**What you will do**:
- Operate painting machinery in a production line as well as manually in the paint booth
- Learn about our industry-leading automated equipment systems
- Work with a team to ensure quality and to meet production goals
- Report to a supervisor
- Be willing to assist in other areas as needed.
**Qualifications**:
**Must-Have**:
- Must be able to work full time, Monday to Friday 40hrs/week, day shift
- Must have a reliable means of transportation and a valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift/push/pull/carry up to 35 lbs. repeatedly
- Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift
- English language comprehension
- Must be able to work in a warm environment
**Nice to Have**:
- Minimum 6 months powder coating experience preferred but willing to train the right person
- 2+ years of production experience
- Production line machine operation experience is a plus
- Experience on an automated line considered an asset
- Familiarity with 6S, Theory of Constraints, and Kanban is a plus

Previous experience is required, but we are open to individuals with previous transferable skills such as: production line, general labourer, packaging, warehouse associate.
