Overnight Technical Support

**Job Overview**
We’re hiring an **Overnight Technical Support Operator** to join our on-site monitoring team. This is a console-based position where you’ll be reviewing camera feeds, verifying system alarms, and logging events from a central work station.
This role does **not** involve physical patrols. It’s a quiet, focused job ideal for someone dependable who is comfortable using a computer and can stay alert through the night.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor and verify security system alarms using live camera feeds
- Log all alarms, incidents, and activities accurately during the shift
- Escalate issues to on-call staff when required
- Conduct routine checks of monitoring systems and software
- Perform basic troubleshooting or flag technical issues for IT follow-up
**Qualifications**
- Reliable, punctual, and available for consistent overnight work
- Able to stay alert during quiet periods and follow standard procedures
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and pass a background check
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
