A Maintenance Technician diagnoses, repairs and maintains physical structures, equipment and systems associated with the Company by driving to various locations, using hand tools, power tools, replacement parts and procedures to complete assigned work tasks; utilizes outside contractors to complete repairs as needed.
- **Maintenance Technicians are paid starting from the time they leave home to the time they return home. Wages are based off of experience.**_

An in-depth, hands-on training program ensures our technicians are ready for the job. The training program is further supported by a strong mentoring program. While much of a Maintenance Tech’s work is done independently, you are supported by a network of professionals committed to resolving any challenge you may face. Speedway supplies company-issued tools, a vehicle, and a cell phone to all Maintenance Techs.

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the maintenance, and/or repair, of a variety of physical plant and specialized equipment
in an assigned group of 7-Eleven/Stripes stores within a geographic area. Service calls are initiated from the store via
7Help work orders to appropriate technician. Position reports to the Area Facilities Manager.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

- All duties and responsibilities of a Tech 1 and at least 50% proficiency in Tech II duties and responsibilities listed below
- Responds to work orders for a wide variety of in-store equipment which include, but may not be limited to minor repairs of HVAC, Minor Repairs to Refrigeration, hot beverage equipment (ex. Coffee, Cappuccino), cold

beverage equipment (ex. tea, Fountain, FBD, FCB, Creamer Machine), Fountain/Backroom ice makers, Hot food equipment (ex. fryers, griddles tortilla presses, ovens, roller grills, Warmers), Fuel Dispensers (ex. printers, displays card readers, hanging hardware) etc. **Responds to work orders related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues.**

EDUCATION: High School/GED

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 1+ years

YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: NA

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: NA
