**Structural Precast is seeking a general labourer with carpentry skills to join our precast concrete manufacturing team at our Claresholm facility.**

A General Labourer at Structural Precast is committed to the goal of manufacturing flawless quality-controlled precast concrete products. The manufacturing environment ensures precision and consistency in the production of the precast concrete products. The Structural Precast Team is a good fit for an individual that values being part of a journey, by supporting the company’s culture and staying motivated with incremental progression.

**This position includes the following tasks**:

- Read and interpret drawings
- Read tape measure and perform accurate measurements.
- Constructing forms and frame work for use in precast concrete construction as well as additional carpentry tasks
- Opportunity to perform general labour tasks when required
- Majority of work performed indoors, in factory environment.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Carpentry/framing skills required
- Construction background and asset but not required.
- Understanding blueprints an asset but assistance will be provided initially.
- Physically capable and willing to learn new tasks.
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Self-motivated and reliable.
- Able to handle tasks independently and ability to problem solve issues as they arise.
