Snowbird Aviation Services has an opportunity as a Customer Service Attendant within Wollaston Lake, Saskatchewan. **Responsibilities**: - Conducting passenger check-ins including: process ticket, announce flights, collect boarding passes, assist with baggage requirements and escort passengers during departures and arrivals - Cargo acceptance and processing as well as assisting with ground service duties when required. - Ensure that passengers travelling are deemed "fit to fly" in accordance with the regulations. - Receiving and communicate weather information, flight times, and passenger loads. - Preparing flight/freight manifest, passenger tickets, and load sheets - Effective communication with customers, peers, management, and various departments. - Assist with baggage handling and track lost baggage. - Coordinate transportation, meal requirements, and hotel reservations as required. - Problem solving and making a positive contribution to overall company operations. **General Responsibilities**: - Develop and maintain knowledge of the company's vision, mission, and values. - Customers service attendants will be cross-trained with ground service attendants, detailers, and cargo agents, where applicable, to provide those duties/coverage when necessary. - Safety responsibilities as outlined in the Safety Management System (SMS) manual. **Qualifications**: - Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal skills that strengthen inter-company communications and relations. - Computer skills an asset. - Self-motivated and able to work within given timelines. - Effective leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team. - Able to resolve conflicts positively and productively (customer and co-worker). - Organizational skills imperative. - Possibly required to obtain an Aircraft Radio license and Restricted Area Identity Card **Equipment Used**: - Baggage handling equipment - Radio base unit **Typical Physical and Cognitive Demands**: - Required to be on call for evening and weekend shifts and may be required to respond to callouts as required. - Able to work long and sometimes irregular hours under different weather conditions. - Ability to lift 50 pounds.
