Pet Shop Sales Associate

**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries to enhance their shopping experience.
- Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling cash and credit card payments efficiently.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical sales support to customers, showcasing the features and benefits of our merchandise.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising strategies.
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure all products are displayed correctly.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.
- Exhibit strong time management skills by efficiently managing multiple tasks during busy periods.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required.
- Must be friendly with dogs and customers
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette when interacting with customers.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Demonstrated organizational skills to maintain an orderly work environment.
- A passion for technology sales with the ability to conduct engaging product demos effectively.
- Should be able to lift 40lb+
- Should be able to work at both of our locations
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.20 per hour
