Superior Glove Works Ltd.is currently seeking a Production Associate / Machine Attendant to work out its Point Leamington NL facility.
**More about the role**:
The** Production Associate** **/ Machine Attendant** is responsible for filling orders accurately and efficiently. This individual is also responsible for product preparation, finishing, quality assurance, and other duties as required that provide support to the Production Team.
This position is for the Afternoon Shift which runs Sunday to Thursday from 04:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. The role requires long periods of standing on your feet. Reaching, bending, and lifting is required.
**Responsibilities**:
- Run product through equipment as per order requirements.
- Performing quality checks of the product and communicating issues if any
- Clean and remove fibers, grease, and dirt using hands using cleaning solvents and water
- Sort and package products / finish products as required
- Maintain cleanliness and follow safety protocols for work station
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications & Requirements**:
- Minimum one (1) year experience working in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Math skills required to ensure order accuracy
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Attention to detail to maintain quality standards outlined by specifications and procedures
