**About us**:
Maple Lodge Farms is looking for permanent full-time a General Laborer with Walkie forklift experience to join the team at our Brampton facility

**SHIFTS AVAILABLE**:

- **
Monday to Friday
- 3:30 pm
- 12:00am**:

- ** Starting rate**: $21.00 per hour.
- Shift premium of 0.65 cents each hour worked
- Benefits at 3 months and a Pension Plan at 1 year.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES**
- Responsible for order picking, manually preparing shipments and loading trucks with safe and proper use of electric pallet trucks (walkie) or counterbalance forklifts.
- This positions requires the ability to handle consistent heavy lifting and/or hand-bombing up to 25 kg.
- Must be comfortable working in colder temperatures

**KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS,EXPERIENCE**

Promote and comply with all Maple Lodge Farms Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Environmental Management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

**EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED**:

- 1-2 years working in a fast paced manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Working experience order picking, and physical lifting of various materials
- RF scanning is considered an asset.
- Working experience on a walkie/electric pallet truck is necessary
- Ability to read and write in English.

**COMPETENCIES**:

- Ability to work in a cold (cooler) and freezer, fast paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25-30 kg cases.
- Ability to order pick.
