**Bell Lane/Stedman/Colborne**
The Supervisor is a member of the senior management team and is responsible for the daily operations of the Front-Line staff within the Bell Lane, Colborne Street and Stedman House locations. The Supervisor reports to the Manager of the programs.
**SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Day to day supervision of all front-line staff including disciplinary action
- Develop and implement routines that meet the client/resident’s needs
- Ensure shift staffing requirements
- Participate in meetings and committees as directed by the Manager
- Establish guidelines and procedures for department
- Assist with staff performance and development of staff goals and objectives
- Support staff to fostering appropriate independent decisions
- Providing emotional and moral support
- Ensure clients/resident’s health needs are being met
- Determine the individual support required so that residents can live as independently as possible.
**OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Some direct care to residents
- Medications and supervision of treatments
- Monitoring and ensuring skills transferred from clinical partners are adhered too and followed
- Accurate and concise documentation
- Review of documentation of front-line staff
- May be required to also support financial issues of clients/residents
- Participating/leading Occupational Health and Safety issues; as well as fire drills etc. as required
- Collaborate with other Supervisors to provide consistency in scheduling, following policies and procedures
- other duties as assigned
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Personal Support Worker Certificate or Developmental Service Worker Diploma
- First Aid/CPR C certificate
- COVID-19 Vaccination
- Experience providing personal care in a residential or home care setting
- Clear and up-to-date (within the past 6 months) Vulnerable Sector Check conducted by the local police service
- Driver's license, valid insurance and reliable vehicle.
- Experience working with disabled adults and/or senior citizens is an asset.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months
