**ACCOUNT MANAGER, AGRICULTURE INSURANCE**

**We have an opportunity within our organization for an Account Manager role in our Agricultural sector.**

AgPro Insurance Brokers is the Agriculture division of Rogers McLean Shaw and is a sector within our organization we are focused on growing. The role is Agricultural based which includes a combination of both Personal and Commercial Insurance.

Your knowledge and experience in personal and commercial insurance combined with your attention to detail and customer service focus are the keys to success in the role of _Account Manager, Agriculture Sector_. The Account Manager will be responsible for the ongoing management of clients and the retention of our new and existing client base while working alongside the Agricultural Team Lead and Producers to support all business objectives and activities.

**LOCATION AND STATUS**
- Edmonton and surrounding areas
- Full-time, permanent

**ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Respond to customer requests directly (or indirectly from Agricultural Team Lead or Producer), compiling information and submitting information to appropriate insurance companies (including inputting through company portals)
- Participate in account reviews; assist in up-selling of products and services and working attentively to provide value-added services for clients
- Complete proposals, cover notes, customer correspondence, certificates, and invoicing
- Follow up with clients to resolve outstanding matters
- Stay up to date on product knowledge and build relationship with our insurance partners
- Market accounts that includes new, renewal, and midterm changes
- Manage, sell, and review our Equine program

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 5+ years of related and progressive experience in the insurance industry with a strong working knowledge of either personal & commercial combined or farm insurance.
- Experience in an insurance brokerage
- Alberta Level 1 License required and working towards level 2 license required
