We're seeking a passionate Quality Control (QC) Employee to join our dynamic team. As a QC Employee, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and recyclability of plastics and products. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of sustainable waste management.

**Qualifications**:

- College Certificate, Diploma, or University degree with Chemistry-related majors including Plastics.
- Knowledge of chemical/analytical instruments (eg. GC, IC, FTIR, DSC, or ICP) will be an asset.
- Knowledge of Quality Management System (e.g., ISO9001) will be an asset.
- Plastic processing (eg. extrusion, injection molding) and testing (eg. MFR test, tensile test) knowledge will be an asset.
- Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, proportions, statistics, and process control analysis.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct daily laboratory activities, including sample collection and QC testing.
- Identification of plastic packaging material for plastics recycling purposes.
- Communicate test results to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment according to protocols.
- Support Product Development work under the guidance of senior staff.
