Position: Electrical Foreman

Locations: Eckville & Rocky Mountain House

Position Type: Full-Time

Compensation Package:
Vacation Pay: 10% of base rate, consisting of 6% Vacation Pay and 4% Statutory Pay.

Retirement Savings Plan (RSP): 5% of base hourly rate, calculated on base rate.

Matching RSP Program: 2% of base hourly rate, calculated on base rate.

Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in accordance with local codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to plan and execute electrical projects effectively.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, ensuring timely resolution.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to determine wiring layouts.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for self and team members.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentice electricians as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in electrical technology.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed to specifications and on time.

Qualifications:

- Valid Journeyperson Electrician license/certification.
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician in industrial settings.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and codes.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to safety protocols and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and priorities.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various work conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
