With its strong customer focus, the Digital Accelerator team is dedicated to elevating the training experience to make pilots the best they can be. **The role we are offering you**: **Be the owner of the delivery of product and features**: Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards, analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems, and recommending system improvements. Define the end-to-end product development, supporting the business & customercentricity strategy: from discovery to support. The product owner is also the primary communicator and link between stakeholders and teams. Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries, new requests related to the product. Works in an Agile environment and continuously review the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks. Build, manage and prioritize product backlog, weighing priorities according to the needs and objectives of stakeholders. Product backlog will change frequently, the product owner must make the list accessible and available to all stakeholders (particularly developers) to ensure optimized performance and product outcomes. Develop scope and define backlog items (epic/features/user stories) that guide the Agile software development team. Develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development teams. Work with business and technical stakeholders to identify and organize the steps required for the next iteration. Manage key stakeholders and their expectation. Build and present bi-weekly burndown and velocity chart to key stakeholders. Increase an understanding of Agile practices, Lean Startup, new technologies opportunities and other new trends. Coordinate technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance. **Be a contributor to the business transformation**: Provide guidance and support to the journey owner during the research and design phases. Ensure synergy with the other parallel journey definition and progress. Put in place agile delivery processes to continuously deliver value. Define, govern & report success indicators. **Be an inspirational and motivational colleague**: Work collaboratively with multi-functional team members across all lines of business. Contribute to the collaborative and stimulating work environment. Be a change agent. Embrace and build a continuous improvement culture and be an Agile mindset promoter. Be connected to the industry to know tendencies and suggest innovative ideas. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Manage their team by recruiting and training employees, communicating job expectations, and monitoring performance. Coaches, counsels, and disciplines employees. Accomplishes employee results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results" Responsible to guide the team with a clear product vision to ensure its success (technology evolution, methodologies, etc.). Guide the team in testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information systems so that they operate effectively. Manage the team capacity and hiring based on the workload (resource planning). Manage 3rd party resources tasks daily (ex. CGI, AMS). **Softskills**: Proactive, self-starter with excellent product management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment. High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability. Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal. Strong knowledge of continuous integration, continuous delivery and continuous deployment. Comfortable challenging the status quo and questioning existing practices. Action-oriented and ‘can do’ attitude. Pay attention to details. Performance management. Coaching / supervision. Results driven. Handle pressure. Giving quality constructive feedback. Ability to delegate work. Ability to adapt to constant changes. **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in English and French both verbally and written. Deep understanding and experience with Agile methodologies. Product Owner and/or Scrum Master certification Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner in a software development environment. Strong experience with Scrum or SAFe methodologies.
