**Health Care Assistant/ Home Support Worker**
**Responsibilities**:
- Compassion, integrity, and quality care are all expectations of our community culture.
- Provide excellent care and customer service to patients.
- Assist clients with daily activities - perform delegated tasks as required.
- Support clients in maintaining a safe living environment.
- Offer companionship and provide psychological and emotional support.
- Promote client independence.
- Provide clear, timely communication to the client, family and any stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure the best possible care for clients.
**Requirements**:
- License/ Certification **(required)**
- Passion for helping others and making a positive impact.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Reliable and punctual.
- Valid criminal background check / vulnerable sector check.
- Up-to-date immunization record and TB test
- Valid CPR
