General Laborer / Tank & Vessel Cleaning

Evolution Inspections is currently looking for General Laborer / Tank & Vessel Cleaner to join our team. We offer regular work as well as the opportunity for overtime, competitive wages & benefits. There is opportunity to apprentice as a Highway Tank Tester / Inspector and as a Heavy Equipment Technician for future successful applicants. An additional bonus program is in place for each tank cleaned on top of hourly wages.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reviewing work orders, project planning & project completion
- Cleaning & decommission of Highway tanks, setting up tanks for CSE
- Prepping tank welds and heads for WF MPI
- Safety watch, assist NDE crew as required
- Move equipment around shop and yard
- Maintain confined space entry equipment
- Removal, cleaning and installation of upper coupler plates
- Hose testing
- Assist shop personnel on various projects as required
- Shop and yard cleaning & maintenance

**Requirements**:

- Physically fit, ability to fit and work in confined spaces
- Organized, motivated, provide a high level of attention to detail & quality
- Speak, read, and write fluent English, effective communication
- Ability to work safely & effectively unsupervised or as a team
- Reliable transportation to & from work

**Experience**:

- Experience running skid steer, genie lifts
- Basic hand tools, air tools and power tools
- Use of oxy acetylene torch
- Confined space entry

**Environment**:

- This job is performed in a shop as well as outside in all climates, we ask all employees to be prepared for variable weather conditions
- Confined space entry and working inside vessels

**Schedule**:

- 8-10-hour shift regular Mon-Fri
- Weekend & Overtime as necessary

**Job Type**:

- Part-time / Full-time

**Salary/Wages**:

- $24.00 to $26.00 hour dependent on experience
