**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes.
- Decorate cakes and other items with creativity and precision to meet customer specifications.
- Package finished products attractively for display and sale.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production of baked goods for service.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their selections and addressing any inquiries or special requests.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a bakery or restaurant setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of baking techniques and food handling practices.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices within the food industry is essential.
- Experience in cake decorating is highly desirable, showcasing creativity and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- A passion for baking and an eagerness to learn new techniques or recipes is essential for success in this role.
