Kiewit is hiring Night Shift **Pipelayers** for the **KEV partnership**, **Stage 2 Ottawa LRT Confederation Line Extension Project**.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **2 years** of pipe laying experience
- Must have **laser experience** (Set up a pipe laser, cut up and rotate lasers)
- Experience working with large pipe (40 inches)
- Strong communication skills to work with operators and team
- Read drawings, understand grade and elevations
**Shift**
- Night shift
- Up to 11 hours
- OT pay
- Turnaround available depending on management approval.
**Duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Install and/or repair water-main, sanitary, and storm
- Co-ordinate layout of pipe routes with drawings, and check slopes for conformance to requirements using levels and/or lasers
- Connect pipes and seal joints using glue, cement, gaskets and/or flanges
- Grade, level trench base, and back fill pipe using tamping machine and hand tools
- Other general labor and construction related duties are required

Kiewit/-Eurovia/-VINCI Ottawa Partnership (KEV) is a joint venture partnership between Peter Kiewit Sons ULC and VINCI Group, and its affiliates. KEV is a world-class team of design, engineering and construction companies with extensive experience on light-rail transit systems. This construction project for the Stage 2 Confederation Line of the Ottawa LRT has an estimated duration of 5 years.
