About the team you are joining

What your day would be like
- Work on conceptual data pipeline processes
- Program efficient code and prepare test plans
- Participate in development of data specifications and data models
- Prepare and document data integration processes and design specifications
- Provide technical guidance during all stages of SDLC
- Conduct unit testing of data integration code as per requirements and document testing results
- Design and implement component execution orchestration
- Collaborate and negotiate solutions with partners
- Perform promotion and stabilization activities such as packaging, deployment or software configuration, environment management, continuous integration
- Learn and use software development supporting technologies for release management, packaging
- Work with different technology partners to integrate with existing and available DevOps services or recommend new ones where relevant
- Document, maintain and communicate software development standards and processes
- Propose work plan and estimate development activities effort
- Work with project managers to consolidate technical status and communicate to management
- Document component design for developers and for broader communication
- Document component operational procedures for production support
- Perform development tasks, when necessary, which include, but not limited to:

- Write and administer data integration jobs to extract data from multiple data sources and load into data warehouse/ data lake
- Integrate data from different data sources: databases, csv files, xml files, queues
- Integrate data for batch, near real-time, real-time latencies
- Organize data at different aggregation levels, hierarchies
- Work on complex data transformation logic
- Proactively monitor the performance of data jobs and tune the jobs as needed
- Make the data integration jobs fault tolerant and scalable
- Perform Data quality, data modelling and database tasks as required

We would love to hear from you if
- Data Integration/ ETL Knowledge in Architecture, Design, Configuration, Data Mapping, Extraction, Transformation and Loading processing large volumes of data
- Experience in SQL query optimization and at least one language common to Cloud Platforms such as Java/Python
- Experience in analyzing large and complex multi-dimensional datasets with a variety of tools
- Talend Platform (DI, Data Stewardship, TMC, Remote Engines)
- Knowledge and experience on troubleshooting Talend Jobs and implementing auditing and error handling
- Experience in facilitating conversations between business and IT stakeholders and ability to capture business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
