**Position Overview**:
We are currently seeking a friendly and attentive Cafe Server to join our team. As a Cafe Server, you will be an essential part of our front-of-house staff, providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting with food and beverage orders, and contributing to the overall success of our bakery cafe.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcome customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing attentive service throughout their visit.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests and dietary preferences are noted.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, presenting items in an appealing and appetizing manner.
- Monitor tables and respond promptly to customer inquiries, requests, and concerns, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
- Assist with clearing and wiping of tables, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions, and be able to make recommendations to customers as needed.
- Uphold our commitment to excellence in customer service and hospitality, embodying the values of our bakery cafe as a community gathering place.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in customer service or food service roles, preferably in a cafe or bakery setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing outstanding service to every customer.
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Food handler's permit and previous barista training is an asset.
