**The Opportunity**:
We’re looking for an Bilingual Account Officer join our Correspondent & Institutional team on an 18 month contract.

This role can be mostly remote, however we will on occasion require you to come onsite to our office at 1800 McGill College Avenue, QC.

Reporting to the Director, Relationship Management, the Bilingual Account Officer is responsible for supporting Aviso Correspondent & Institutional (C&I) by providing outstanding service for clients, team members and related parties. C&I offers comprehensive custody and trading services to help portfolio managers, introducing brokers, and financial partners grow their business. You will be responsible for working with team members of C&I to follow up and investigate operational and service matters related to the delivery of wealth management services. In this position, you will support the efforts of the team by assisting in doing day to day and support related activities and some reporting.

**What your day looks like**:

- Follow up on and gather information on client account activities for client responses
- Work with Operations and IT to investigate activities and completion of requests
- Send out account opening and other paperwork as directed by the C&I team
- Review incoming account and transfer documentation for completeness, record receipt and initiate and follow up for completion
- Receive and direct certain daily activities for processing by Aviso or other related parties
- Ensure customer problems are handled appropriately, escalating issues when necessary
- Provide reporting on client accounts and other activities as necessary
- Assist with management and any other department related duties

**Requirements**:
**Your experience and skills**:

- University/College degree
- Completion of Canadian Securities Course
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience
- Effective information gathering and timely follow up
- Fluent communication skills in English and French are required
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong ability to identify and assist in resolving issues
- Show initiative, attention to detail and adaptability
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management/prioritization skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently
- Contribute to a positive working environment
- Strong computer skills
