If so, a position as a Financial Services Representative at Healthcare and Municipal Employees’ Credit Union (HMECU) could be the perfect fit for you. **Company** **Our Purpose** We care for the financial needs and wellbeing of our members so you can focus on what matters most. **Job Purpose & Summary** As a Financial Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our members, assisting them with their financial needs and helping them achieve their financial goals. Your ability to adapt, your proactive approach and commitment to excellence will be key to your success. The Financial Service Representative plays a critical role in achieving the goal of the organization by building strong and long lasting member relations through providing members with exceptional services. **Skill Requirements** **Required Experience**: - Post Secondary education in finance or business preferred; - 3 years of equivalent work experience in a financial services sales’ environment with a proven track record in sales; - Self-starter that has an independent mindset and proactively provides service to our members; - Knowledge of DNA banking system strongly preferred; - Ability to discuss recommendations based around investments in Non-Registered and Registered Products - Ability to provide professional advice and education with an ability to address credit and investment needs. - Superb member service skills, including dealing with difficult member situations; - Must be bondable. **What you’d be doing**: - Within approval limits, approve or provide recommendations on products and services including new accounts, loans, mortgages, lines of credit, investment products, MeritLines, and insurance. - Follows up with delinquencies and other correspondences, as required, including loans, LOCs, mortgages and MasterCard. - Responsible for holding estate meetings ensuring completion and closure from document intake to account creation. - Reconciles, daily, new loan reports and verifies daily loans to ensure that all documents pertaining to the loan are properly filled out and the information is inputted on DNA and LOS correctly; - Other Duties and Responsibilities as may be assigned_ - Please note: Healthcare and Municipal Employees Credit Union has an accommodation process in place and provides accommodations for employees with disabilities.
