Shingler

Job Summary:
**Duties**:

- Install and repair roofs using various materials such as shingles, tiles, or metal
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare the surface for installation
- Ensure roofs are properly aligned and sealed to prevent leaks
- Use hand tools such as, nail gun, saws, and drills to complete roofing projects
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment when necessary
- Clean up debris and maintain a clean work area

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Shingler or in a related role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions are also compensated.

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- roofing: 1 year (preferred)
