League Coordinator

Under the direction of the General Manager, the League Coordinator is responsible to effectively co-ordinate player and league contact information, league schedules and tournaments. This position will work closely with all other team members in optimizing hockey and baseball operations and ensure game schedules, officiating assignments, social media, website updating and league discipline is carried out in an efficient manner.

**Job Summary**:
**Pre-Season**
- Distribution of schedules, team lists, league rules, sweaters, equipment or other information.

**Seasonal**
- Regular communication (suspensions) with teams, players, officials.
- Collection and consolidation of finances.
- Creation & preparation of schedules and balancing divisions.
- Scheduling referees and timekeepers, overseeing scheduling of umpires.

**Job Requirements**:

- Recommended post-secondary diploma, degree in Sport Admin or related discipline.
- Experience working in a sports or leisure facility running leagues.
- Good understanding of skating and hockey fundamentals.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of hockey league rules, regulations, policies and programs.
- Asset - Hockey & Baseball experience.
- Experience in customer service or sales & marketing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office software (particularly Excel and Word).
- Requires a police background check and clearance.
- Performs other duties as required.

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
