**About the role**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Greet clients and walk-ins as they enter the salon.
- Offer clients refreshments and answer questions.
- Inform the stylist of their clients arrival and direct them to their chair.
- Process payments and log transactions utilizing the POS system and debit/credit machines.
- Manage inventory changes when retail products are sold to clients or stylists.
- Restock shelves as needed
- Follow loss prevention protocols.
- Communicate to Managers and Head Office when supplies are low.
- Maintain a clean and tidy front end.
- Educate clients on at-home care and recommend products and tools for clients to purchase.
- Inform clients of services and promotions.
- Build and maintain relationships with regular clients.
- Participate in salon marketing programs including but not limited to social media campaigns and online portfolio development.
- Create regular social media posts for the salon’s social media accounts, with the guidance of the salon manager and the marketing team.
- High School diploma.
- Previous experience as a Salon Receptionist or Salon Coordinator is an asset.
- 2 years customer service experience, retail sales, or receptionist experience.
- Experience using computers and processing transactions.
- Excellent communication, record-keeping and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
