Our company is seeking Referees to join our team.

All referees are responsible for officiating league games in a respectful, courteous, and professional manner, while providing a fun and safe environment for all participants.

Hockey referees will implement established Ieague rules to the best of their abilities.

**Key Information**
- $55 per game
- Pay via e-transfer once per month (5th of every month)
- Custom and flexible schedule
- Online scheduling system with automated reminders and information
- 90 minute game slots
- Most games begin at 10pm-1030pm on weekdays and various times on weekends

**Responsibilities**:

- Knowledge of rules, usually acquired through experience officiating or as a player;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage conflicts
- Leadership qualities and ability to work as part of a dynamic team;
- Provide up-to-date availability
- Referee fair and consistent games to the best of your ability;
- Maintain a positive attitude around participants and peers;
- Complete appropriate incident/accident reports when necessary prior to noonn the next day

**Requirements**:

- Willingness to work on weekend evenings at least 2x per month
- Ability to travel at off-peak hours to various rinks within Edmonton
- Ability to skate at an intermediate level
- Ability to source CCRHL mandated officials equipment, including skates, a black helmet, black referee pants, a black and white officials jersey, Acme Thunderer whistle, and clear visor.

**Job Types**: Casual, Part-time
Part-time hours: 6 per week

**Salary**: $27.50 per hour
