We are currently seeking a qualified** Housekeeping Operations Manager** for our on-site location in Oshawa, ON.**About the Role**

- **Responsibilities**- Evaluate, coordinate, and assign cleaning, labour, and janitorial tasks to team members based on client requests and skill level;
- Inspect all work performed in the facility to ensure that it meets company standards and client expectations;
- Act as the primary onsite point-of-contact for the cleaning team for any questions, concerns, or disputes that they may have;
- Promptly address and respond to the customer's inquiries on services provided and requests;
- Ensure proper stock and organization of inventory including supplies, materials, and equipment used;
- Ensure proper distribution and use of PPE equipment and gear;
- Ensure efficiency of work and adjust workloads and task priorities as required;
- Effectively manage employee schedules and adjust timelines as necessary;
- Address and report on all inefficiencies, issues, incidents, and customer concern;
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives among the team and with upper management;
- Follow all company and customer instructions, safety policies and procedure;
- Other duties as assigned.**Qualifications**- Approximately 5 years of management experience within an industrial manufacturing or industrial cleaning environment;
- Experience with managing team in a Unionized environment is considered an asset;
- The ability to anticipate customer needs, quickly change goals, alter direction, and multitask;
- Capable of using independent judgment and solid decision-making skills;
- Proven experience interacting effectively with all levels of management and clientele, both inside and outside of the organization;
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail;
- Must be flexible with scheduling including weekends and holidays as needed;
