**_ _**_This position will involve a variety of electronic, optical, and mechanical assembly tasks, as well as quality assurance and systems testing. The position is ideally suited to graduates of engineering technology programs with a focus in electronics, industrial automation, instrumentation, robotics, or systems integration work._

**_ Responsibilities_**
- _Build mixed electrical, optical, and mechanical systems._
- _Perform quality assurance testing on completed equipment._
- _Check order documentation for accuracy and create outbound shipment documents._
- _Maintain accurate records of the production and quality assurance process._
- _Assist with inventory record-keeping and verification._
- _Design, build, test, and use custom diagnostic and quality control tools._
- _Keep production and logistics spaces clean and well-organized._

**Qualifications**:
**_Requirements_**
- _Post-secondary diploma in electronics, industrial automation, or a related engineering technology field is required._
- _Strong oral and written English communication skills._
- _Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical technical drawings, and to build basic electronic circuits from schematics._
- _Experience with wiring, soldering, and standard electrical test equipment._
- _Ability to lift 20 kg / 45 lb packages._
- _Ability to conduct telephone & in-person conversations in a professional manner._
- _Detail-oriented worker able to perform precision tasks independently._

**_Other Requirements_**
- Must be authorized to work in Canada._
