SEES Inc. is currently looking for talented and driven 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year apprentice HETs to start immediately. Wages are negotiable depending on your level of experience.

POSITION: 2nd 3rd or 4th Year HEAVY EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

HOURS: FULL TIME- SHIFT WORK- DAYS

LOCATION: NISKU

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Heavy Equipment Technician Apprenticeship
Class 1, 3 or 5 license with Q endorsement and clean 5 year drivers abstract.
Must be able to travel throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas. This position may also require travel throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

Must have reliable transportation to and from shop.

Previous experience with oilfield equipment.

Ability to work overtime when required.

PREFERRED:
Experience with CAT, John Deere, Komatsu, Hitachi, O&K, and various other types of equipment.
Experience with CAT SIS System an asset
Air Brakes Ticket preferred
CVIP License considered an asset
Previous dealership experience considered an asset but not required.
Intermediate computer skills including confidence with Microsoft office.
Previous experience with Cummins INSITE software and John Deere Service Adviser software preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure jobs are completed in a timely and professional manner.
Must be able to work with mínimal supervision in field conditions days or nights.

Effectively communicate with the operations manager, other managers, and workers daily.
Effectively communicate with customers providing accurate repair estimates, progress reports and additional work requirements.
Complete all reports, inspections, and investigations completely and in a timely fashion.
Assist in pre-job planning and parts requirement planning.
Review completed work to ensure it meets the expected standards of quality.
Testing and inspecting equipment to ensure repairs are completed to manufacturers specifications and government standards.
Must be able to contribute to and enhance the SEES Inc. safety culture.

Must be a legal resident of Alberta able to legally work in Canada.

Pay: $29.75-$38.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 72 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
- Air Brake Endorsement (preferred)
