**Required immediately is a unique individual as full time Manufacturing Manager to lead the full-scope steel fabrication and manufacturing activities. Ideally a qualified Structural Engineer and/or Technologist with exceptional production management experience in a steel fabrication setting, and/or a qualified and experienced Fabricator/Welder that has come through the ranks and has several years experience leading as Production Manager.**
- **We are looking for a hungry, ambitious operations leader that has a depth of knowledge in planning & scheduling all production activities, manage quality, as well as the ability to grow efficiencies and productivity. Your demonstrated ability to take care of, lead and develop our people in a safe environment, as well as superior housekeeping will give you a distinct advantage.**_

The successful applicant will:

- Be a Fabricator & Welder that has a minimum of 7 years experience as Production Manager in a steel fabrication business, or
- A Structural Engineer or Technologist, with at least 4 years experience as Production Manager in a steel fabrication business.
- Skilled in planning, using advanced scheduling systems, and developing shift targets, and measuring tools.
- Reading blue prints and dimensions, whilst the ability to design and CAD drawings will be highly advantageous.
- Technically support and lead our teams of people - train and develop.
- Experience in managing our safety systems and processes, as well as lead of QC activities.
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and professional work ethic, and demonstrate professionalism.
- Strong communication skills, and attention to detail in executing his/her duties.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to provide a current driver’s license and a clear drivers extract, as well as clean criminal record.

**Compensation: This position’s compensation is driven by performance, and in addition to a competitive base salary, we offer performance driven incentive scheme as a significant component of the overall compensation. The Total Compensation package will be negotiated in the $85k - $125k per annum range.**
