**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared accurately and delivered promptly to guests. This position requires strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

**Duties**
- Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure all orders are accurate and complete.
- Monitor food presentation and quality before serving to guests, adhering to restaurant standards.
- Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed, contributing to meal assembly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting area, including equipment and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food handling and preparation.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, including roles such as server, barista, or kitchen staff.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate teamwork between the kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
- Experience in cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment is beneficial.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional guest services.
